The Flex Group began as Flex Maintenance Sevices in September 2010. The concept was to offer property maintenance to Hull and surrounding areas that could offer a range of tradesmen to provide both planned and reactive maintenance. We wanted to provide something more than just maintenance services and the Flex Hub Online System was created to provide enhanced communication, more visibility and quick turnaround on jobs and subsequent paperwork.
Flex then quickly grew, and we decided that it was time to add more tradesmen to the team to offer a wider range of services to customers, this included construction services and compliance services. Fast forward to January 2015 and we had grown to 16 full-time employees and a greater service offering. Flex then saw a rebrand and we changed to the ‘Flex Group’. Why? Because of the wider range of services we now offer and the increased number of tradesmen on board.
A move to a larger head office in January 2016 again saw Flex Group grow and there are now regularly over 20 engineers on various sites across the Hull and East Yorkshire area. The reason for the name Flex is that the aim is to offer a flexible service, so whether you are looking for building work, electrical work, gas and plumbing, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, full refurbishments, compliance services such as fire extinguishers, fire training and fire risk assessments as well as reactive and planned maintenance the Flex Group have the correct tradesman for the job.
